“Mental conditioning and visualization for a game can be divided into two different parts: the day before the game and moments right before the game.”
This quote comes from an issue of FIBA Assist Magazine. In this article, Albert Rodionov delves into a practical usage of imagery and visualization pre-competition. Rodionov has a Master’s in sport psychology and has worked with the USSR/Russia men’s and women’s basketball teams since 1969. He’s currently the President of The Russian Association of Sport Psychologists. In other words, he knows a bit about this subject.
